Pulse Oximetry

Convergent Engineering is working on Pulse Oximetry to research various issues and applications related to it. The Pulse-Ox data is collected from probes on finger, nose and cheek. This data can be extremely useful in detecting Arrhythmia or describing Ventilation in Hypovolemic patients. Convergent Engineering is a partner in a research effort to explore pleth, cardiac bypass and dicrotic notch from Pulse-Ox data. We intend to perform many studies in near future to confirm our existing hypotheses and to explore other uses of Pulse Oximetry.
