Saturday morning update

Yesterday morning and early afternoon were tough again, with 2 esophageal spasms that were 1.5 hours long and VERY painful. But things got better in the afternoon and Tammy slept 9 hours last night (more than the previous 3 nights combined). The epidural came out at 9am or so and we are hoping for the drain to come out as well (the last thing connected).

Thanks to an APS (acute pain service) clinician who helped rearrange our oral medications! God willing, we hope for Tammy to come home today. Still have some things ahead of us, including the pathology report, but making very good progress!
